Mykonos-Day 1

Mykonos-Day 1

My summer vacation didn’t really turn out as planned but was super nice anyway.

The plan was to go in August to Mykonos, together with some friends, rent a nice villa, relax during the days on the beach, lots of dine&wine and party in the nights. After all we were going to the most cosmopolitan, the great party mecca among the Greek island.

Long story short, I end up going off-season, with my mum, which didn’t include that much party but was lovely to spend the days together, by the beach or the amazing pool from our hotel (I will come back with a dedicated post for it).

We spent the evenings exploring this stunningly picturesque Cycladic town with its maze-like small narrow white streets that can get very full during the high-season so I guess we were lucky in a way not to find the town that crowded so we could actually see it. What I liked in this town is that it didn’t become completely touristic and didn’t loose its identity even though it’s filled with boutiques, bars, restaurants, art galleries and tourists.

After few days M came along and we explored more of the island but you can read all about it in the following days.

For now here are some photos with me and my mum enjoying the sarroundings of our hotel.
